Numbering Policy

Last Updated May 18, 2026

Use of voice and/or facsimile services provided by VOIPx3 is subject to this Numbering Policy, which is incorporated into and made part of the applicable Service Agreement. Customers may obtain new numbers from VOIPx3 or port existing numbers, subject to the terms below.

I. Number Availability

VOIPx3 makes telephone numbers available for use with its Services, which Customers may select for assignment to their Account.
Availability of any number is not guaranteed. Listings of available numbers may be inaccurate or outdated. In the event a selected number is not actually available, VOIPx3 reserves the right to remove or replace such number.

II. Number Porting

A. Port-In Requests

Customers must maintain active service with their current provider in order to port numbers into VOIPx3.

To initiate a port-in request, the Account Administrator must:

  • Submit a request through the Admin Portal
  • Provide all required information and documentation (including a Letter of Agency, if applicable)
  • Comply with any additional instructions provided by VOIPx3

For porting requests involving more than 100 numbers, Customers must contact VOIPx3 support at support@voipx3.com and follow provided procedures.

Porting requests are processed during standard business hours (Monday–Friday). Requests submitted after hours will be processed on the next business day.

B. Port-Out Requests

To port numbers to another provider, Customers must:

  • Follow the procedures of the receiving provider
  • Provide all required information and cooperation

Porting timelines depend on third-party providers and factors outside VOIPx3’s control. Delays may occur due to incomplete information or actions by third parties.

C. Unauthorized Port-Outs

VOIPx3 is required to comply with valid porting requests submitted through authorized processes.

Customers acknowledge that:

  • Unauthorized port-outs may occur due to third-party actions
  • VOIPx3 may not be able to prevent or reverse such port-outs
  • Recovery of ported numbers may not be possible

VOIPx3 shall not be liable for any loss or damages resulting from such port-outs.

D. Accuracy of Information

Customers represent and warrant that all information provided in connection with porting requests is:

  • True
  • Accurate
  • Complete
  • Up to date

E. Compliance with Laws

Customers agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to number porting.

Customers shall not:

  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive conduct
  • Submit unauthorized porting requests
  • Engage in “slamming” (unauthorized carrier changes)
  • Violate contractual obligations with other service providers

F. Release of Numbers

Upon termination or cancellation of Services:

  • Any numbers not ported out may be released by VOIPx3
  • Individual line cancellations may also result in number release

Customers are solely responsible for porting numbers to another provider before terminating Services.

III. Number Publication

All number assignments are provisional until verified and confirmed by the Customer.

Customers should not publish, advertise, or rely on any assigned number until it has been tested and confirmed to be active and functioning properly.

Recommended verification includes:

  • Test calling from a non-VOIPx3 service
  • Confirming routing and functionality
  • Reviewing applicable fees and charges

VOIPx3 is not responsible for costs or damages resulting from premature publication of numbers.
