Technical Requirements & Network Sufficiency Policy

Last Updated May 18, 2026

Use of VOIPx3 products and services (collectively, the “Services”) requires that your network environment meets certain technical standards. These requirements are incorporated into and form part of your applicable Service Agreement.

1 Network Requirements

The Services require a properly configured, high-performance broadband IP network.

To ensure optimal performance, you must:

  • Maintain a reliable, business-grade internet connection
  • Use enterprise-grade networking equipment (e.g., routers, firewalls, switches)
  • Ensure sufficient bandwidth, low latency, and minimal packet loss
  • Properly configure your network for voice and real-time communications (e.g., QoS settings)

Use of the Services on networks that do not meet these requirements may result in:

  • Degraded call quality
  • Service interruptions
  • Partial or complete service unavailability

2 Unsupported or Limited Network Environments

The Services are not designed for use on:

  • 2G, 3G, or LTE/mobile-only networks
  • Unmanaged or public Wi-Fi networks
  • Networks with insufficient bandwidth or high congestion

Use in these environments may lead to unreliable performance.

3 Customer Responsibility

You are responsible, at your own cost, for:

  • Providing and maintaining a network that meets these requirements
  • Ensuring compatibility between your network and the Services
  • Maintaining all equipment necessary to connect to and use the Services

VOIPx3 is not responsible for performance issues caused by your network or internet provider.

4 Security & Fraud Prevention Best Practices

To reduce the risk of unauthorized use, fraud, or data exposure, VOIPx3 recommends that you:

  • Disable international calling where not required
  • Restrict outbound calling to approved destinations
  • Block inbound calls from unwanted or suspicious regions or numbers
  • Block calls with no caller ID where appropriate
  • Disable voicemail-to-email or fax-to-email attachments if they may contain sensitive information

You are responsible for securing your account and implementing appropriate safeguards.

5 Service Dependencies

The performance and availability of the Services depend on:

  • Your internet service provider (ISP)
  • Network configuration and equipment
  • Power availability
  • Third-party infrastructure outside of VOIPx3’s control

VOIPx3 does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service where these dependencies are not met.

6 Recommendations

For best results, VOIPx3 recommends:

  • Dedicated bandwidth for voice traffic
  • Use of wired connections for desk phones
  • Battery backup (UPS) for network equipment
  • Regular network monitoring and maintenance

VOIPx3 can assist with network readiness assessments to ensure optimal performance.
